LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -Offensive lineman Andy Christensen was reinstated to Nebraska’s football team after being acquitted of sexual assault charges last week.
Cornhuskers coach Bo Pelini said Monday that Christensen would resume practicing, but will be suspended for Saturday’s game against New Mexico State.
Last month, Christensen pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and criminal mischief in connection with the case.
He had been accused of reaching under the skirt of a 23-year-old woman and molesting her at a bar in downtown Lincoln and was suspended from the team following the March incident.
