FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Korliss Marshall ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns on six carries to highlight Arkansas’ Red-White game.
Sharing time with backfield incumbents Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins, Marshall led the predominantly first-team Red to a 61-22 win over the White on Saturday.
The sophomore had touchdown runs of 59 and 8 yards, with the former igniting a stretch of three touchdowns in 16 seconds for the Red in the first half.
Williams added 78 yards rushing on eight carries, and quarterback Brandon Allen was 12 of 21 with a touchdown and two interceptions.
Deatrich Wise led the Red defense with five sacks and forced a fumble, all in the first half. Rohan Gaines and Carroll Washington had interception for the first-team defense.
