CINCINNATI (AP) - New coach Tommy Tuberville watched his Bearcats finish their final spring workout, walked over to the sideline and gave his assessment of the practice.
``Well, they're all boring, they're all about the same,'' he said. ``Kind of like watching paint dry.''
His predecessor would never have said anything like that.
Tuberville takes over for Butch Jones, who left for Tennessee after last season. He has a much different style than Jones, who made his voice heard during practices by talking into a microphone.
Tuberville is bringing a different approach to the playbook as well. The Bearcats return most of the linemen from a team that won a share of the Big East last season. Tuberville is trying to develop a style that's more physical than finesse.
