LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -Louisville football coach Steve Kragthorpe will be his own offensive coordinator next season.
Kragthorpe announced Monday afternoon that former offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jeff Brohm has taken another job. Kragthorpe said that he will call the plays for the Cardinals next season.
Brohm has been a member of the Cardinals’ coaching staff for six years and is one of four family members, including younger brother Brian, to play for the team.
Kragthorpe also announced the hiring of wide receivers coach Jeff Lewis and quarterbacks coach and passing coordinator Matt Wells.
Kragthorpe says Brohm had the option of staying with the program, but not in a coaching capacity. He did not say where Brohm has taken a new job.
