Sudfeld to lead Indiana?
On the radar for the NFL, Indiana QB Nate Sudfeld hopes to have a strong showing in today’s Pinstripe Bowl against Duke.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, Indiana is favored in today’s game, as the Hoosiers are getting odds of -3 points against the Blue Devils. The over/under total for the game has been set at 71.5 points. These two meet today at 3:30PM ET on ABC. The game takes place from Yankee Stadium in New York.
The 6-6 senior quarterback for Indiana (6-6, 7-5 ATS) has thrown for 3,184 yards and 24 touchdowns this season despite dealing with an injury mid-season. For today’s bowl game, Sudfeld has been given an over/under of 290.5 passing yards against Duke (7-5, 6-6 ATS). The Blue Devils haven’t been terribly strong against the pass this season, allowing 228.6 yards per game, which ranks 71st in the country.
Sudfeld has been pretty steady when given the opportunity to throw the football. He has six games over 300 yards this season. In each of those games, he has had at least 27 pass attempts. He has had 735 passing yards over his last two games and also has eight touchdown passes in that span. With Indiana getting a rare chance to play on ABC and on national television, Sudfeld knows this is a big game for his NFL future. Look for him to have a strong outing.
