Oklahoma Sooners Game Notes
Dillon Gabriel completed 20 of 40 passes for 259 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday’s 28-13 win against Oklahoma State. He also had six rushes for 30 yards with one touchdown. Gabriel looked like his normal self as Oklahoma jumped out to a 28-0 lead over the Cowboys in the first quarter. It was the seventh time he’s been able to post at least three touchdowns in a game. Gabriel is completing 62 percent of his passes with 23 total touchdowns compared to just five interceptions through 10 games. With his propensity to score rushing touchdowns, he’s a fantastic play at Texas Tech next week.
Texas Tech Game Notes
Donovan Smith had two rushes for two yards and a touchdown during Saturday’s 14-10 win versus Iowa State. Smith added his second rushing score of the season, however, did not play a lot as QB Tyler Shough made another start for the Red Raiders. Texas Tech will play their regular season finale at home against Oklahoma.
