Auburn already has its ticket punched for the SEC Championship against South Carolina next weekend. The Tiger are facing off against their fourth ranked opponent this season, but the team has never waivered. Cam Newton has been the best player in the country thus far, as he has thrown for 2,038 yards and 21 touchdowns while rushing for 1,297 yards and 17 scores. While the Tigers are racking up 505.2 yards per game on offense, they are allowing 355.7 yards per game on defense.
Alabama has won two straight by a combined 93-17. The Tide has lost two games on the year, both coming on the road. Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson have combined for over 1,400 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the season. The defense is holding opponents to 293.5 yards per game.
Auburn offensive lineman Roszell Gayden is out for Friday’s game with a shoulder Injury while Alabama offensive lineman Barrett Jones is questionable with an ankle injury.
