TCU ends skid
The TCU Horned Frogs put an end to a 2-game losing streak last weekend when the Horned Frogs defeated Texas Tech on the road, 33-31. TCU is now 5-5 on the season, 3-4 in the Big 12, 3-7 against the spread and 7-3 with the over.
TCU is pretty steady on both sides of the ball this year. The Horned Frogs are giving up just 26.9 points and 330.6 yards per game. Offensively, TCU is putting up 32.3 points and 439.1 yards per outing. Max Duggan is leading the TCU offense with 1,868 passing yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 440 yards and five scores. Darius Anderson is the team’s leading rusher with 785 yards and six scores, while Jalen Reagor has 36 catches for 545 yards and five touchdowns. Trevon Moehrig is leading the defense with 51 tackles and four interceptions.
Oklahoma rallies past Baylor
The Oklahoma Sooners overcame a big deficit in the first half to defeat Baylor last week, 34-31 on the road. The Sooners have won their last two games to move to 9-1 on the season, 6-1 in the Big 12, 4-6 against the spread and 5-4-1 with the over.
Oklahoma is the nation’s top-gaining offense, putting up 581.1 yards per game while posting 47 points per outing. The Sooners are giving up 25.6 points and 350.3 yards per game on defense. Jalen Hurts is having a Heisman campaign, putting up 3,039 passing yards with 28 touchdowns while rushing for 983 yards and 15 scores. Kennedy Brooks has added 608 rushing yards and three scores while CeeDee Lamb has 44 catches for 983 yards and 13 touchdowns. Lamb is questionable to play on Saturday due to a head injury.
College Football Betting Trends
TCU
The Horned Frogs have hit the over in four straight games overall and in four straight in November.
Oklahoma
The Sooners are 16-5-1 with the over in their last 22 home games and 38-18-1 with the over in their last 57 conference games.
Prediction:
These two have hit the under in seven of their last 10 encounters, but I like the over in this one. Oklahoma hasn’t had any trouble scoring points, especially at home. The Sooners have put up at least 42 in every home game this year and TCU’s defense isn’t strong enough to slow down Lincoln Riley and company. Oklahoma’s defense has turned in a bad way in recent weeks. They have given up at least 31 in three straight and over 40 in two of those games. TCU should be able to take advantage of that and turn this game into a shootout. Look for another high-scoring game from the Sooners.
