Ohio State Buckeyes Game Notes

Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Tuesday that he would be shocked if all three of DeaMonte Trayanum (undisclosed), TreVeyon Henderson (foot) and Miyan Williams (undisclosed) were unavailable for Saturday's game versus Maryland, Andrew Lind of SI.com reports. Trayanum hasn't had much of a role in the backfield this season, only managing one carry for nine yards in seven games. Even if he is able to play Saturday, both Williams and Henderson will likely have to remain out for the Arizona State transfer to receive a significant workload.

Maryland Terps Game Notes

Roman Hemby tallied 13 rushes for 68 yards and reeled in their only target for zero yards during Saturday's 30-0 defeat versus Penn State. Hemby once again paced the Terrapins' running-back-by-committee backfield in carries and rushing yards against Penn State's stout defense. The redshirt freshman accounted for nearly half of his team's offensive production, as the Terrapins were held to just 134 total yards in this shoutout loss. Maryland should continue to rely on Hemby this coming Saturday against Ohio State.
