Texas edges K-State
The Texas football team is coming off a 27-24 win at home over Kansas State. The Longhorns have alternated wins and losses over their last five games. Texas is now 6-3 overall, 4-2 in the Big 12, 4-5 against the spread and 6-3 with the over.
The Longhorns are pretty solid on offense this year, averaging 37.8 points and 477.6 yards per game. Defensively, the same can’t be said as Texas is allowing 30.7 points and 447.6 yards per contest. Sam Ehlinger is leading the team with 2,641 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. He also has rushed for 401 yards and five scores. Keaontay Ingram is the leading rusher with 633 yards and six touchdowns while Devin Duvernay is the top receiver with 78 catches for 910 yards and seven scores.
Cyclones on a skid
Iowa State is riding a two-game losing streak coming into this game. Last weekend, the Cyclones were edged by Oklahoma, 42-41. Iowa State is now 5-4 on the season, 3-3 in the Big 12, 5-3-1 against the spread and 4-4-1 with the over/under total.

College Football Betting Trends
Texas
The Longhorns are 13-4 with the under in their last 17 games on grass and 22-8 with the under in their last 30 games in November.
Iowa State
The Cyclones are 7-2-1 with the under in their last 10 games against a winning team, but they have hit the over in five straight following a loss.
Prediction:
These two have hit the under in four straight meetings, but Iowa State was a defensive-led team in those years. This time around, Iowa State and Texas are both offensive-minded teams. Iowa State has scored at least 34 points in four of their last five games and Texas has put up at least 27 in every game this year. I would expect a lot of back-and-forth here as both passing attacks should have success. I think these two will get over 70 points, so feel comfortable going with the over at 66.
College Football Week 12 Prediction: Texas/Iowa State Over 66
