Temple vs. USF Odds
No. 21 Temple looks to stay undefeated in the AAC on Saturday when the Owls host South Florida at 7PM ET on the CBS Sports Network.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Temple is the slight favorite on the road, as the Owls are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the game has been set at 44.5 points. These two last met in 2012 with Temple getting a 37-28 win at home.
Temple is 8-1 on the season, 5-0 in the AAC, 7-2 against the spread and 5-4 with the under. The Owls are coming off a 60-40 win at SMU last week. The Owls are now averaging 34 points and 361.3 yards per game on offense while the defense is giving up 18.4 points and 335 yards per contest. The offense is led by Jahad Thomas, who has run for 970 yards and 14 touchdowns. P.J. Walker has thrown for 1,769 yards and 14 touchdowns while Robby Anderson is the leading receiver with 37 catches for 524 yards and six scores.
South Florida is 5-4 on the year, 3-2 in the AAC, 6-2-1 against the spread and 5-3-1 with the under. The Bulls are coming off a 22-17 win at ECU last week for their fourth win in five games. USF is averaging 27.7 points and 396.9 yards per game on offense while the defense is giving up 22.2 points and 369 yards per game. Marlon Mack is leading the offense with 835 rushing yards and four touchdowns while QB Quinton Flowers has thrown for 1,446 yards and 12 touchdowns while running for 657 yards and seven scores.
