LSU Game Notes
LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels has emerged as the Tigers’ best offensive player. During LSU’s current three-game winning streak, Jayden Daniels has thrown for 779 yards, rushed for 260 yards, and accounted for 14 total touchdowns (7 passing, 7 rushing). He made the key play in the Tigers’ win over Alabama last week, finding tight end Mason Taylor for the game-winning two-point conversion. Daniels now has the seventh-best odds of winning the Heisman Trophy at the end of the year. He will be instrumental in the result of this game.
On defense, LSU has been led by junior defensive end BJ Ojulari. Ojulari is tied for fifth in the SEC with 5 sacks on the year and has recorded 16 total tackles during the Tigers’ current three-game winning streak. If he makes his presence known on Saturday, LSU can win and cover this game.
Arkansas Game Notes
Arkansas has one of the best running backs in the country in Raheim “Rocket” Sanders. Sanders has 1,101 rushing yards this season which leads the SEC and ranks sixth in the nation. He is averaging an efficient 6.4 yards per carry and has scored 7 rushing touchdowns. Rocket Sanders might be able to find some room to run in this contest, as LSU ranks 54th in the country in opponent average yards per rushing attempt. The score might prevent that though if LSU gets out to an early lead.
The Razorbacks have struggled on defense this season. They rank 114th in the country in average yards per play allowed at 6.3. Despite that, they have a number of good players on defense, highlighted by linebackers Bumper Pool and Drew Sanders. Sanders leads the SEC with 7.5 sacks and ranks fifth in the conference with 74 total tackles on the season. What’s more, Drew Sanders also has 3 passes defended and 3 forced fumbles for the Razorbacks this year. He will probably need to make several plays for Arkansas to cover this game.

LSU vs. Arkansas Betting Prediction
LSU won a thriller over Alabama last Saturday night in overtime 32-31 on a game-winning two-point conversion. It was the type of win that can define a season. The win over Alabama put LSU firmly in the driver’s seat in the SEC West. If the Tigers beat Arkansas on Saturday and beat Texas A&M in three weeks, they’ll go to the SEC Championship Game where they’ll likely face Georgia. LSU is a missed extra point away from being 8-1, and new head coach Brian Kelly has done a tremendous job putting his stamp on this team. I think that the LSU offense has found its stride and I think they light up the scoreboard against an Arkansas defense that ranks 96th in the country in points allowed per game. I think LSU eventually wins the SEC West, and they take out a mediocre Arkansas squad along the way.
