The over/under total for the game has been set at 57.5 points. Clemson has won its last two meetings with Syracuse but each has covered the spread in one of the two games. The two hit the under in both encounters.

The Tigers are coming off a 23-13 win over Florida State last week to stay unbeaten and lock up their division in the ACC. Syracuse is 3-6 overall, 1-4 in the ACC, 5-4 against the spread and 8-1 with the over. The Orange are coming off a 41-17 loss at Louisville for their sixth loss in a row. Syracuse is averaging 27.9 points and 331.6 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up 30.7 points and 438 yards per contest. Eric Dungey has thrown for 1,298 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the offense while Jordan Fredericks has run for 426 yards and three scores. Steve Ishmael is the leading receiver with 30 catches for 458 yards and five touchdowns.
