Colorado Buffaloes Game Notes
J.T. Shrout completed 17 of 34 passes for 247 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday’s 49-10 loss against Oregon. He also rushed three times for three yards. Shrout and the Buffaloes were outclassed by Oregon at almost every position. While Shrout has had flashes of excellence since taking over the QB duties, the offense has difficulty putting all the pieces together. Shrout has a chance to make a splash Friday night against USC, as the Trojans have struggled defensively all season long despite their elite offense.
USC Trojans Game Notes
USC coach Lincoln Riley said Thursday that Mario Williams (undisclosed) is a game-time decision to play in Friday’s matchup with Colorado, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Like Jordan Addison (leg), Williams has also missed the last two games versus Arizona and California. However, while Addison is expected to play, the sophomore wideout’s status is up in the air. If Williams doesn’t play Friday, he should be ready to go for next Saturday’s game versus UCLA.
