No. 6 Notre Dame looks to continue its march toward the playoffs on Saturday when they host Wake Forest at 3:30PM ET on NBC.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Notre Dame is the clear favorite, as the Fighting Irish are getting odds of -27 points against Wake Forest. The over/under total for the game has been set at 52 points. Notre Dame has won two straight meetings with Wake Forest, but the two are 1-1 against the spread in the two meetings.

Notre Dame is 8-1 on the season, 7-2 against the spread and 5-4 with the over. The Irish are coming off a 42-30 win at Pittsburgh last week for its fourth straight victory. ND is averaging 37.1 points and 489 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing 23.1 points and 365 yards per contest. ND already has had plenty of injuries this year and now C.J. Prosise is questionable with a head injury. He has run for 975 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the team while DeShone Kizer has thrown for 1,931 yards and 16 touchdowns. William Fuller has caught 44 passes for 900 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Wake Forest is 3-6 overall, 4-5 against the spread and 4-4-1 with the over/under total. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 20-19 loss to Louisville last week for their third straight loss. Wake is averaging 18.7 points and 340.6 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing 23 points and 345.1 yards per contest. Cortez Lewis is leading the offense with 36 catches for 468 yards and two touchdowns. John Wolford and Kendall Hinton have each shared time as QB and they have combined for 2,050 yards and 10 touchdowns with 14 interceptions.
