Oklahoma State Cowboys Game Notes
Gunnar Gundy was 2-for-7 passing for 16 yards with an interception while rushing for 27 yards on five carries during Saturday’s 48-0 defeat to Kansas State. Gundy entered the game after Spencer Sanders landed hard on his shoulder in the fourth quarter. The Oklahoma State offense could not find success with either Sanders or Gundy in the line-up. Oklahoma State will look to turn it around against Kansas next week.
Kansas Jayhawks Game Notes
Jason Bean was 16-for-27 passing for 232 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 25 yards and a score on eight carries during Saturday’s 35-23 loss against Baylor. Bean’s rushing propensity paid off as he was able to add his first rushing score of the season. Through the air, it was a rather mediocre performance as he had just the one score opposed to the eight touchdowns he racked up in the two previous weeks. Regardless, he remains a true dual-threat quarterback on an offense that has proven they can put up points. Kansas is on a bye next week before hosting Oklahoma State.
