Texas vs. Texas A&M Prediction
Will Texas Tech pull off the small upset today at 12:00PM ET when it hosts Texas in Lubbock?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Red Raiders are 3-point home underdogs versus the Longhorns after opening as a 3.5-point dog earlier in the week. As for the total, the number sits at 83.5 after it hit the board at 80.

The Longhorns have been a poor road bet of late, failing to cover in seven of their last nine road games overall. They’re also just 6-22 at the betting window in their last 28 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game and are 1-4 against the number in their last five games coming off a straight up win.
The Red Raiders, meanwhile, have been an excellent play of late, covering in five of their last six games overall and going 7-1 at the betting window in their last eight conference games. They’ve also been a great bet at home, covering in four of their last five games in Lubbock and are a perfect 6-0 against the spread in their last six games played in the month of November.

OUR PREDICTION: The Longhorns have been solid in Austin this season, pulling off outright upsets versus Notre Dame and Baylor, plus soundly beating UTEP and Iowa State as sizable favorites, but Texas has struggled mightily on the road. They were beaten outright as a 7.5-point favorite at Cal in September, wasn’t competitive as only a 2.5-point dog at Oklahoma State in early October, then lost as a 1-point favorite at Kansas State a few weeks ago. Now the Longhorns have the unevnable challenge of keeping pace with Patrick Mahomes and Texas Tech’s No. 1 ranked passing attack and the No. 2 scoring team in the country. I like the Red Raiders to win outright, but I’ll take the field goal in my back pocket.
