Western Kentucky vs. Middle Tennessee State Prediction

Western Kentucky vs. Middle Tennessee State 11/2/18, Prediction & Odds

The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders are one win away from bowl eligibility and face a Western Kentucky squad tonight that has only one victory in eight games. Will MTSU roll to a win tonight and cover the two-touchdown spread in the process?

Hilltoppers fall by three TDs

Western Kentucky lost 38-17 at home its last game against Florida International to fall to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in conference play. Blue Raiders roll at ODU

The Blue Raiders led 31-10 at halftime and outscored ODU in every quarter. Brent Stockstill was 25-of-34 through the air for 280 yards and two TDs plus an interception. He also rushed for a touchdown. Terelle West had 13 carries for 120 yards and a score. Chaton Mobley had nine rushes for 36 and a TD. Gatlin Casey had four receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown. College Football Betting Trends

Western Kentucky

The Hilltoppers are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games on turf. The over is 6-1-1 in the last eight Western Kentucky games on turf.

Middle Tennessee State

The home team is 4-0 in the last four meetings. The over is 6-0 in the last six meetings.

The home team has enjoyed success in this series as of late and MTSU is by far the better team here. Don't overthink this one. It seems as though oddsmakers could have added a few more points to the line and it would still seem reasonable, so your job as a bettor is to take advantage. Anything can happen in sports, but I think the safest play tonight is to expect the Blue Raiders to roll and cover the spread.
