College Football Betting Trends
Virginia
Virginia has covered the spread in five straight home games and in five of its last six games on grass.
Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh has covered the spread in five of its last six conference games and in seven of its last nine against winning teams.
Prediction:
Pittsburgh has won three straight in this series, but this is a different Virginia team. The Cavs are one of the best defensive teams in the ACC and Pittsburgh clearly needs offense to win games because the Panthers can’t stop anyone. Virginia will use its running game to grind out possessions and keep Pitt off the field. The Panthers aren’t good enough of a team to have to convert each possession into points.
