TCU vs. Baylor Pick
Will TCU and Baylor struggle to cash the over for bettors when the two Big 12 rivals clash in Waco on Saturday at 3:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bears are now just 7.5-point home favorites versus the Horned Frogs after opening as a 10-point favorite. As for the total, the number opened at 69 and that’s where it currently sits at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.

TCU KEY TRENDS: The Horned Frogs have been a horrible bet this season, failing to cover in all four of their last four games and going 0-5 against the spread in their last five conference games as well. They’re also 1-4 against the number in their last five games coming off a loss and are 1-5 ATS in their last six games when failing to cover in their previous game.
BAYLOR KEY TRENDS: The Bears have been an outstanding play at home over the years, covering in 29 of their last 40 games played in Waco. But they have not been a good bet in conference play, going 3-7 at the betting window in their last 10 games played against Big 12 opponents. They’re also just 4-10 against the spread in their last 14 games overall, including losing last Saturday to Texas as a 3.5-point favorite.

OUR PREDICTION: The over is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams but TCU’s quarterback situation is a mess. Kenny Hill was just 16-of-29 for 160 yards and an interception last Saturday in TCU’s loss to Texas Tech, while Foster Sawyer was 6-of-17 for 86 yards and a touchdown. This isn’t the same offensive juggernaut that college football fans have grown accustomed to watching over the years, as the Frogs have scored just 34 points combined in their last two games. TCU will once again try to rely on its defense on Saturday and with Baylor coming off a loss and watching its playoff hopes all but disappear, this could be a lackluster game in Waco.
