Iowa State vs. Kansas Prediction
Iowa State should win its fourth game of the season on Saturday afternoon when the Cyclones visit winless Kansas at 12:00 p.m. ET. That said, will they cover as a four-touchdown road favorite or is there a better bet on the board?

Iowa State Cyclones Game Notes
Iowa State junior QB Brock Purdy completed 19-of-34 passes for 162 yards and a 1-1 ratio in a 24-21 loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday. Purdy (6'1/212) was inconsistent moving the ball against Oklahoma State's top-five defense, averaging only 4.8 yards per attempt. Though he also rushed 12 times for 38 yards and a touchdown, the junior signal-caller only converted 3-of-13 third down opportunities while failing to mount sustained drives. Purdy's showing today is indicative of the inconsistent performances he has shown so far this season. One game he looks like a world-beater, the next he looks like an average option at best. The good news is Iowa State plays Big 12 doormat Kansas next Saturday.
Kansas Jayhawks Game Notes
Kansas freshman QB Jalon Daniels is expected to be the team's starting moving forward according to HC Les Miles. After failing to settle on a starter, due in large part to injuries that sidelined both Daniels (6'0/200) and Thomas MacVittie, Miles said on Monday that he believes that the former will be the one to lead the Kansas offense moving forward. "If he stays healthy I think he’ll be the guy that starts," Miles said of Daniels. "With some experience he’s going to be very special." Daniels was responsible for both Kansas touchdowns in Saturday's 55-14 loss to Kansas State, rushing for 27 yards and two scores while also completing 22-of-39 passes for 207 yards and an interception. Should he run into any more health issues, either MacVittie or Miles Kendrick would be next in line.
