Pitt is averaging just 27.8 points and 374.8 yards per game on offense this season, but the Panthers have put up over 30 points in three of four wins and over 40 in two of those wins. Pitt has a strong run game, led by Qadree Ollison, who has run for 795 yards and seven touchdowns. Darrin Hall has added 429 rushing yards. Kenny Pickett has thrown for 1,156 yards and eight touchdowns. Defensively, Pittsburgh is allowing 32.6 points and 436 yards per contest. Their run defense is giving up 185 yards per contest.
Virginia is coming off a 31-21 win over North Carolina last week for its third straight win and fifth win in six games. The Cavaliers are now 6-2 overall, 4-1 in the ACC, 7-1 against the spread and 4-4 with the over/under total.

College Football Betting Trends
Pittsburgh has hit the under in eight of its last nine road games and the Panthers are 9-3-1 with the under in their last 13 Friday games.
The Cavaliers have hit the over in four of their last five Friday games, but are 32-14 with the under in their last 46 games following a win.
Pittsburgh has had some big offensive showings, but the Panthers were also held to 14 by Notre Dame, 14 by UCF and 6 by Penn State. Virginia is a very solid defensive team and its offense likes to control the ball with the ground game. That aspect shouldn’t be difficult for the Cavs against a really poor Pitt run defense. The Panthers will get limited possessions and likely not succeed on a fair amount of them against this good defense. Look for the under to hit on Friday night.
