Utes keep on winning
The Utah football team is on a four-game winning streak right now following a 35-0 shutout of Cal at home. The Utes are now 7-1 on the year, 4-1 in the Pac-12, 5-3 against the spread and 7-1 with the under.
Utah is one of the top defensive teams in the country this year. The Utes are giving up just 10.2 points and 231.2 yards per game. Devin Lloyd is the team leader on defense with 54 tackles, three sacks and an interception. Offensively, Utah is putting up 33.1 points and 452.4 yards per outing. Zack Moss is leading the offense with 728 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, while Tyler Huntley has thrown for 1,778 yards and 10 scores. Huntley also has rushed for 229 yards and three scores. Bryan Thompson is the leading receiver with 14 catches for 371 yards and three touchdowns.
Huskies edged by Oregon
Washington is coming off a 35-31 loss at home to Oregon for its second loss in three games. The Huskies are now 5-3 on the year, 2-3 in the Pac-12, 5-3 against the spread and 5-3 with the over.
The Huskies have a respectable defense that is giving up just 21.5 points and 376.6 yards per game. On offense, Washington is putting up 35.8 points and 424.8 yards per contest. Jacob Eason has thrown for 1,981 yards and 16 touchdowns to lead the Huskies on offense while Salvon Ahmed is the leading rusher with 662 yards and seven touchdowns. Aaron Fuller is the team’s leading receiver with 40 catches for 558 yards and five scores.
College Football Betting Trends
The Utes have hit the under in five straight road games and in their last six games overall.
Washington has hit the over in five of their last seven games in November and in four of their last five against a winning team.
These two have hit the under in their last two meetings, scoring just 13 points combined in last year’s game at Washington. We know Utah is only going to give up so many points, as their defense has been elite pretty much all year. Washington isn’t an offense that should overwhelm them. The key will be for the total is what we can expect from the Utah offense. The Huskies have been a competitive defense most of the year as well and I would expect a spirited effort at home in a must-win game for them. This game should be another offensive grind between the two, so I like the under to hit.
College Football Week 10 Prediction: Utah/Washington Under 47.5
