The Cardinals are coming off a 17-14 win over Boston College last week for their third win in four weeks. The team is led by dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has thrown for 1,135 yards and six touchdowns while also leading the team in rushing with 482 yards and six scores.
Wake Forest is 3-5 on the year, 1-4 in the ACC, 3-5 against the spread and 4-3-1 with the over. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 35-17 loss to N.C. State last week for their fourth loss in five games. Wake is struggling on offense this year, averaging just 18.6 points and 349.9 yards per contest, however the defense is holding opponents to 23.4 points and 348.6 yards per game. Wake has used two quarterbacks during the year, as John Wolford has thrown for 1,012 yards and six touchdowns but has five interceptions, while Kendall Hinton has thrown for 812 yards with two scores and four interceptions. Hinton has also rushed for 330 yards and six touchdowns.
