According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Demon Deacons are 11-point home underdogs versus the Cardinals after opening as a 10-point dog. As for the total, it opened at 42 and has since been bet up to 43 points.

Both teams are dealing with young quarterbacks. Louisville is too reliant on a freshman quarterback, who is dealing with a sprained ankle. Wake Forest fell to NC State, mainly because it struggled against the run, allowing 8.3 yard per carry. It also helped that NC State had an extra week to prepare.

Louisville averages just 150.3 yards per game rushing and beat Boston College by just three last week, a team with zero offense. This is too many points to lay on an inconsistent Cardinals team.
