Missouri Tigers Game Notes
Brady Cook completed 17-of-25 passes for 211 yards, one touchdown and one interception Saturday against Vandy. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead, ultimately hanging on for the 17-14 triumph. Cook has been decidedly mediocre this season with six touchdowns and seven picks through seven contests. A winnable game at South Carolina lurks next weekend, though Cook has yet to pass for over 300 yards in any contest this season.
South Carolina Gamecocks Game Notes
Spencer Rattler completed 12-of-25 passes for 168 yards Saturday against Texas A&M. Despite the team getting the win, Rattler failed to toss a touchdown for the third time in five games. Rattler has just five touchdown passes in seven contests, while tossing eight picks and also battling fumbling issues. Rattler has a decent matchup with Mizzou next weekend, but nothing we have seen thus far this year suggests Rattler will be able to put up numbers against the Tigers.
Missouri vs. South Carolina Betting Trends
Favorite is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings
Home team is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings
Under is 6-0 in Tigers last 6 road games
Missouri vs. South Carolina Betting Prediction
The under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams overall and is 4-1 in the last five meetings in South Carolina. The under is also a perfect 6-0 in the Tigers’ last six games overall, is 6-0 in their last six conference games and is 6-0 in their last six road contests. Missouri has one of the worst offenses in the SEC but the Tigers have also been competitive defensively so we should be able to bank on another Mizzou under this afternoon.
