WVU vs. TCU Odds
No. 5 TCU looks to stay in the playoff picture tonight when it hosts West Virginia at 7:30PM ET on FOX Sports 1.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, TCU is the favorite at home, as the Horned Frogs are getting odds of -14 points against the Mountaineers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 75.5 points. The road team has won the last three in this series, covering the spread in two of the three wins.
TCU is 7-0 on the season, 4-0 in the Big 12, 3-4 against the spread and 4-3 with the over. The Horned Frogs are coming off a 45-21 win at Iowa State two weeks ago to remain unbeaten. TCU ranks second nationally in scoring (50.1 ppg) and total offense (616.3 ypg), while the defense is giving up 26.6 points and 397.4 yards per contest. Trevone Boykin leads the team with 2,539 passing yards and 25 touchdowns while also rushing for 440 yards and five scores. Aaron Green is the leading rusher with 632 yards and eight scores while Josh Doctson has caught 60 passes for 1,067 yards and 12 touchdowns.
West Virginia is 3-3 on the season, 0-3 in the Big 12, 2-4 against the spread and 4-2 with the under. The Mountaineers are coming off a 62-38 loss at Baylor two weeks ago. They have now lost three straight games. WVU is averaging 36.3 points and 485.5 yards per game on offense, but the defense is giving up 27 points and 400.7 yards per game. Skyler Howard has thrown for 1,566 yards and 15 touchdowns to lead the offense while Wendell Smallwood has run for 678 yards and five touchdowns. Shelton Gibson has added 540 receiving yards with six scores.
