Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Game Notes
Matthew Downing (undisclosed) is believed to have suffered a season-ending injury, Eric Henry of SBNation.com reports. Downing replaced Parker McNeil (undisclosed) during the team’s previous contest, but the former suffered an injury of his own and is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the season. It appears McNeil is on track to play Friday, but if he’s sidelined, expect Landry Lyddy to draw his first start of the season.
Florida International Panthers Game Notes
Grayson James went 26-for-34 for 306 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against Charlotte on Saturday. He also rushed 10 times for 53 yards and two scores. Prior to this, James had three touchdowns against FBS teams, and that all came against NMSU. Honestly, this probably mostly speaks to Charlotte having the worst defense in the FBS this year.
