South Florida vs. Houston Prediction
Houston has enjoyed success this season with a high-powered offense that has scored at least 41 points in all seven games. Will undefeated and 21st-ranked South Florida and the one-loss host Cougars engage in a shootout today that sends the total to the over?

Cronkrite leading high-powered ground game
South Florida running back Jordan Cronkrite is leading the running game for 7-0 South Florida as he has 110 carries on the season for 860 yards and six touchdowns. Johnny Ford has become a bigger part of the offense lately and has 38 rushes for 356 yards and five scores. Quarterback Black Barnett is 134-of-216 through the air for 1,810 yards with 10 TDs and seven interceptions. He has also rushed for 227 yards and seven touchdowns. Randall St. Felix paces the receivers with 24 receptions for 484 yards and two TDs. Tyre McCants has 40 catches for 435 yards and two scores.
King nearly unstoppable
Houston quarterback D'Eriq King is enjoying a fantastic season as he has 141-for-222 through the air for 1,984 yards with 23 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also rushed 57 times for 281 yards and nine scores. Patrick Carr has 65 rushes for 407 yards and two TDs. Marquez Stevenson leads the receiving corps with 40 receptions for 613 yards and six TDs. Keith Corbin has 26 receptions for 498 yards and seven touchdowns. Courtney Lark has accounted for 28 catches for 424 yards and four TDs.
College Football Betting Trends
The over is 7-1 in the last eight Bulls games versus a team with a winning home record. The under is 6-2-1 in the last nine South Florida games on turf.
The under is 4-1 in the last five Cougars conference games. The under is 17-8 in the last 25 Houston games overall.
Both teams have shown a fantastic ability to score this season and Houston does not have that great of a defense, which should allow the Bulls to stick with them score for score much of the contest. While the trends might point toward an under here, I like this one to be a high-scoring and entertaining affair that sails over the total.
PREDICTION: SOUTH FLORIDA/HOUSTON OVER 76
