Oklahoma vs. Kansas State Spread Pick
The Oklahoma Sooners got back on track last week in Fort Worth with a convincing victory over TCU. The Sooners should add to their win column on Saturday when they host the struggling Kansas State Wildcats but will they cover the big number?

Kansas State Wildcats
Kansas State redshirt sophomore QB Skylar Thompson completed 11-of-22 passes for 130 yards and ran for 80 yards in a 31-12 victory over Oklahoma State. Once again, Thompson wasn’t able to get to the 60 percent completion mark — he has done it just two times this year in his seven games — but he made enough plays with his legs to keep the chains moving. What he did most effectively is give the ball to Alex Barnes, who is on fire with seven scores in two weeks. Alex Delton could be back in two weeks, so we’ll see if he or Thompson Start against Oklahoma on October 27.
Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma redshirt junior QB Kyler Murray completed 19-of-24 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 51 yards in a 52-27 victory over TCU on Saturday. Not a huge yardage game from the Heisman contender, but that’s nitpicking. Murray had no trouble finding open receivers against the Horned Frogs, and the Sooners were also able to gash the TCU defense for 323 yards on the ground. In his first — and very likely last — year as the starting quarterback for the Sooners, Murray now has a 21/3 TD/INT ratio and impressive 71.3 completion percentage. We’ll see him back on the field next Saturday against Kansas State.

Prediction
The Wildcats have been a fantastic bet under Bill Snyder when they’re an underdog and they’re a big dog Saturday afternoon in Norman. That said, this is one of the worst KSU teams that Snyder has had in Manhattan. The Wildcats have zero speed, which will be a problem in Norman against a Sooners team that is loaded in that area. Oklahoma knows it can’t stumble again if it wants to reach the college football playoff and I don’t see the Sooners taking their foot off the gas. I’m laying the big number.
College Football Prediction: Oklahoma Sooners -24 (buy the hook down to the key number)
