College Football Betting Trends
Michigan State
The Spartans are just 2-8 against the spread in their last eight games on grass and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games in October.
Penn State
Penn State is 11-5 against the spread in its last 16 road games and 20-8-2 ATS in their last 30 games on grass.
Prediction:
Weather isn’t looking great in East Lansing for this game, which should help the under and could help MSU, but I think Penn State will be just fine. The Nittany Lions will be stronger up front and be able to control the game with their run game and run defense. We keep waiting for Michigan State to be the Cinderella darling we have seen in previous years, but the Spartans just don’t show up against the good teams. Wisconsin absolutely manhandled them two weeks ago. Penn State won’t manhandle them, but the Nittany Lions are clearly better in every aspect.
