According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Virginia Tech is favored at home, as the Hokies are getting odds of -2.5 points against Duke. The over/under total for the game has been set at 43.5 points. Virginia Tech has won nine of its last 10 against Duke, but the Blue Devils are 4-3 against the spread in the last seven of this series. These two have hit the under in four of their last five meetings.
Duke is 5-1 on the season, 2-0 in the ACC, 4-2 against the spread and 6-0 with the under. The Blue Devils are coming off a 44-3 win at Army last week for their third straight win. Thomas Sirk has thrown for 1,260 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the offense while also rushing for 325 yards and two touchdowns.

The Hokies are coming off a 30-20 loss to Miami last week and they have now lost three of their last four games. Tech is averaging 29.4 points and 376 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing 23.4 points and 348.9 yards per game. Brenden Motley has thrown for 1,155 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the offense while Isaiah Ford has caught 32 passes for 497 yards and seven scores. Travon McMillian has added 418 rushing yards.
