Bet on Ohio State vs. Penn State
Ohio State survived its toughest test to date last week when the Buckeyes won at Wisconsin, 30-23 in OT. That improved Ohio State to 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes are now 4-2 against the spread, but have failed to cover in their last two games. Ohio State looks to have the complete package. Offensively, the Buckeyes are putting up 49.3 points and 516.5 yards per game, including 300.5 rushing yards per contest. Currently three different Buckeyes have run for 434 yards or more, including J.T. Barrett. The starting QB has 434 rushing yards with six touchdowns to go with 1,207 passing yards and 16 scores. Ohio State has a lot to think about this season in terms of what its goals are. For this week, my guess is the focus is on one score. 49-10. That is what Michigan beat Penn State by in Ann Arbor about four weeks ago. The Wolverines seemed to try and outdo Ohio State a few weeks ago with a 78-0 win over Rutgers when Ohio State beat the Knights 58-0 the week before. Despite have some challenges in Big Ten play so far, Ohio State should be able to impose its will on Penn State and I suspect the Buckeyes will look to send a message back to the Wolverines.
