According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cavaliers are 8-point underdogs to the Tar Heels while the over/under total currently sits at 68 points. Virginia had opened as a 10-point dog before the line dropped two points, while the total opened at that same 68-point number.

North Carolina enters play having won six of its first eight games this season. The Tar Heels upset Miami 20-13 as a 6-point road underdog last week and are now 4-3 against the spread this season as well. Mitch Trubisky completed 33-of-46 passes for 299 yards with two touchdowns in the win, while Bug Howard caught 10 passes for 156 yards.
Virginia, meanwhile, is coming in off a 45-31 loss as a 3.5-point underdog to Pittsburgh last weekend. Kurt Benkert completed just 20-of-44 passes for 278 yards with one touchdown and one interception but the defense was gashed for 346 yards by the Panthers’ dynamic rushing attack. The loss dropped the Cavaliers record to 2-4 on the year and 3-2-1 against the spread.
