Oklahoma vs. TCU Total Prediction
The Oklahoma Sooners had two weeks to sit on their loss to Texas but they’ll look to let out some frustration on Saturday afternoon when they visit the TCU Horned Frogs. Is the under a good play?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Sooners are 8-point favorites to beat the Horned Frogs. The total, meanwhile, sits at 44.5 points. As of this writing, 60% of the public betting tickets wagered on this matchup are on the Sooners.
Oklahoma Sooners
Walter Football’s Charlie Campbell hears that it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Oklahoma redshirt junior T Cody Ford could receive some Day 1 draft interest. At this juncture, Campbell is being told that a high selection on Day 2 probably represents the ceiling of Ford’s stock, but sounds as though Day 1 is not out of the question if things break right. Especially if the 6-foot-4, 338-pound redshirt junior continues to impress as he has early in the season. To whit, Ford did not allow a single quarterback pressure on his 18 snaps in pass protection against Army in that thriller of a win several weeks back.
TCU Horned Frogs
TCU sophomore QB Shawn Robinson (shoulder) completed 26-of-45 passes for 290 yards, two touchdowns and two touchdowns while rushing for 42 yards in Thursday’s 17-14 loss to Texas Tech. Robinson (6’2/228) was dealing with a banged-up shoulder coming into the game, but ultimately was able to play the entirety of the contest. As for how he played, we’d give the sophomore’s performance mixed-to-poor reviews. For seemingly every play where Robinson was improvising to beautiful effect, such as on his 20-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Reagor in the second quarter, he had a questionable decision or a misplaced ball which prevented TCU from putting together any sort of sustained offensive push. We had high hopes for Robinson this season, but he’s now thrown an interception in every game outside the opener. He’s been picked off multiple times in three games. Robinson will try to shake off his inconsistencies long enough to have a moment in the sun against Oklahoma in Week 8.
Betting Trends
Oklahoma
The over is 6-1 in the Sooners’ last seven games overall and 4-1 in their last five conference matchups.
TCU
The under is 20-8 in the Horned Frogs’ last 28 games overall and 35-17 in their last 52 conference games.
Prediction
Oklahoma had to fire its defensive coordinator following the Texas game but even though the Sooners have been a great ‘over’ team of late, I don’t trust TCU’s offense. If the Horned Frogs are going to win this game it’ll be because of their defense. The under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings between these two teams and I like the under again on Saturday afternoon.
