USC vs. Arizona Predictions
Will USC roll this afternoon when it visits Arizona at 3:30PM ET or will the Wildcats stay within the point spread as a home dog?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Trojans are now 10-point road favorites versus the Wildcats after opening as a 7-point favorite. As for the total, it opened at 61.5 but has jumped all the way up to 65.
The Trojans are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five conference games and are 3-9 at the betting window in their last 12 games overall. They're also 7-21 against the number in their last 28 road games and have failed to cover in 18 of their last 55 games following a straight up win.
The Wildcats have been a horrible bet of late, failing to cover in seven of their last eight games overall and in 11 of their last 16 home games. They're also winless at 0-4 against the spread in their last four games coming off a loss and are 0-4 at the betting window in their last four games in October.
OUR PREDICTION: The underdog is 10-1 against the spread in the last 11 meetings between these two teams while the Trojans are just 3-8 at the betting window in their last 11 games in Tucson. Seeing as how the Trojans are expected to be within leading rusher Justin Davis, who suffered a high-ankle sprain last Saturday versus Colorado, Arizona should be able to hang with USC this afternoon.
