Arizona heating up
The Wildcats are riding a four-game win streak right now following their 35-30 win at Colorado last weekend. Arizona is now 4-1 overall, 2-0 in the Pac-12, 2-2-1 against the spread and 3-2 with the over.
Arizona has been great on offense, but awful on defense. The Wildcats are putting up 37.2 points and 539.2 yards per game on offense while allowing 29.4 points and 478.6 yards per game on defense. Khalil Tate has thrown for 1,088 yards and nine touchdowns while rushing for 261 yards and two scores. Tayvian Cunningham is the leading receiver with 233 yards and two scores while Gary Brightwell is the leading rusher with 286 yards and four touchdowns.
Huskies coming off loss
Washington took a surprising road loss last weekend, losing 23-13 at Stanford to drop to 4-2 on the season and 1-2 in the Pac-12. The Huskies are 4-2 against the spread this year and 3-3 with the over/under total.
The Huskies are in the middle of the road on offense and defense. They are giving up 18.3 points and 364.2 yards per game while putting up 34 points and 419.2 yards per outing. Jacob Eason has thrown for 1,449 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the offense while Aaron Fuller is his top receiver with 36 catches for 498 yards and four touchdowns. Salvon Ahmed is the team’s leading receiver with 427 rushing yards and three scores.
College Football Betting Trends
Arizona
The Wildcats have hit the over in five of their last six against a winning team and in six of their last eight overall.
Washington
The Huskies have hit the under in five of their last six road games and in four straight in October.
Prediction:
These two have hit the under in three of their last four meetings. Washington struggled last week, but it was on the offense. The Huskies have held up defensively in every game this year and I think they can hold up at Arizona. The Wildcats haven’t been the explosive offense we would have expected this year. They had just 20 against UCLA and 28 against Texas Tech. Arizona is likely to hit a speed bump against this Washington defense. The Huskies have an offense that can score at times, but I think they will struggle on the road in a primetime game out West. Look for this total to be low.
