LSU Tigers Game Notes

Saturday's game between LSU-Missouri has been moved from Baton Rouge to Columbia due to the pending impact of Hurricane Delta on Louisiana. The game, originally scheduled to kick off at 9 pm EST in Baton Rouge, will now begin at noon EST in Columbia. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said the conference wanted to keep the game in an SEC stadium to ensure its COVID-19 protocols were followed. LSU was a 20.5-point favorite prior to the release of the news; the game is now off the board at most sportsbooks. The SEC says it is monitoring the hurricane's path to "evaluate its potential impact on other athletic events" this week. Stay tuned.

Missouri Tigers Game Notes

Missouri HC Eliah Drinkwitz said on Tuesday that he plans to start redshirt freshman QB Connor Bazelak in Saturday's game vs. LSU. Bazelak (6'3/220) replaced a struggling Shawn Robinson in last weekend's 35-12 loss at Tennessee, completing 13-of-21 passes for 218 yards and an interception. While those aren't exactly numbers that jump off the page, the redshirt freshman played well enough to make Drinkwitz's decision as to who will start against LSU an easy one.
