The 2018College Football Season has completed another week of action, but oddsmakers feel each week is just securing the championship odds for the defending champs.
According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, Alabama is favored to win this championship, as the Crimson Tide are now getting odds of -225 to win. Other short odds to win are Ohio State (+500), Clemson (+500) and Georgia (+650).
Alabama remains No. 1 in the country following a 65-31 win over Arkansas on the road this weekend. The Tide led 41-14 at halftime as QB Tua Tagovailoa continues to shine in the first half of games. Alabama is averaging 56 points per game on offense this year and allowing just 16 per game. Bama has won 17 national championships and is the defending champs.
The Buckeyes are 6-0 on the season after earning a 49-26 win at home over Indiana this weekend. Ohio State is averaging 49 points per game on offense while allowing 20 per contest on defense. The program has won eight national championships, with the last coming in 2014.
Clemson bounced back from a scare last week by dominating at Wake Forest this weekend for a 63-3 victory. The Tigers are now 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in the ACC. Clemson is averaging 42.2 points per game thus far while giving up just 14.5 per game. The program has won two national titles, last winning in 2016.
Georgia improved to 6-0 on the year and 4-0 in the SEC with a 41-13 win over Vanderbilt this weekend. The Bulldogs are scoring 42.8 points per game on offense while allowing just 13 per game. Georgia has won two national titles, last winning in 1980.
