According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cougars are 25-point home favorites versus the Mustangs after opening as 22-point favorites. The total, meanwhile, sits at 71, down from the opening number of 74.5.

This game should be close to over at halftime. Houston beat a pretty good Tulsa team on the road by 14 last week. SMU lost to 1-AA James Madison two weeks ago, allowing 48 points at home. They actually played their best game at TCU on Sept. 19, falling by 19, but TCU looked disinterested.

The Mustangs got back to form at home, when they lost to ECU, 49-23. Houston's Greg Ward should put up 6+ TDs against a defense that averages 284.8 rushing yards allowed per game.
