According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Oklahoma is the clear favorite in this game, as the Sooners are getting odds of -17 points against the Longhorns. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 61.5 points. Oklahoma has won four of its last five against Texas, but the Longhorns have covered the spread in two straight meetings with the Sooners.

Oklahoma is 4-0 on the season, 1-0 in the Big 12, 3-1 against the spread and 2-2 with the over/under total. Oklahoma is coming off a 44-24 win over West Virginia at home to start Big 12 play. The Sooners are now averaging 42 points and 521.8 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing just 22.2 points and 363 yards per game. Baker Mayfield is leading the team with 1,382 passing yards and 13 touchdowns while Samaje Perine has just 328 rushing yards and two scores.

However, Texas was throttled last week by TCU, 50-7. Texas is putting up 24.6 points and 338.6 yards per game, while the defense is allowing 38.2 points and 507.2 yards per contest. Jerrod Heard has thrown for 661 yards and two touchdowns for Texas while also rushing for 318 yards and three scores. D’Onta Foreman is the leading rusher amongst backs with 211 yards and two touchdowns.
