Washington vs. Oregon Pick
When Washington visits Oregon on Saturday night at 7:30PM ET, will it be a high-scoring game for bettors and fans alike?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Huskies are now 9-point road favorites versus the Ducks after opening as an 8-point fave. As for the total, the number opened at 69.5 and that's where it currently sits at the majority of sports books.
Washington remained unbeaten on the year after trouncing Stanford 44-6 last Friday night in Seattle. The Huskies easily covered as a 3.5-point home favorite and are now 3-2 at the betting window in 2016. Jake Browning was 15-of-21 for 210 yards passing with three touchdowns and no picks in the win. Myles Gaskin also rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.
Oregon fell to 2-3 on the year after losing for the third consecutive week last Saturday. The Ducks were blown out 51-33 by Washington State as a 2.5-point favorite and are now winless at 0-4-1 at the betting window in 2016. Oregon has failed to cover in four opportunities as a favorite this season and notched its lone push as a 3-point underdog in a 35-32 loss to Nebraska in Week 3.
OUR PICK: Expect Saturday night in Eugene to be a high-scoring affair. The over has cashed in seven of Washington's last eight games overall, is 4-0 in the Huskies' last four conference games, and is 6-1 in their last seven games coming off a win. On the other side, the over is a perfect 5-0 in the Ducks' last five conference games, is 7-2 in their last nine games overall, and is 5-2-1 in their last eight games in October. Oregon can't stop anyone defensively, so look for Browning and Gaskin to have another big night offensively.
