Kansas hammered by TCU

Kansas is struggling on both sides of the ball. While only allowing 26.6 points per game, the Jayhawks are giving up 424.4 yards per game. Offensively, Kansas is averaging 23.4 points and 353.4 yards per contest. Khalil Herbert has rushed for 384 yards and two touchdowns, but he has left the team for a personal matter. Pooka Williams Jr. has rushed for 308 yards and a score. Carter Stanley has thrown for 945 yards and nine touchdowns with four interceptions, while Andrew Parchment has 28 catches for 377 yards and four scores.
Oklahoma looking dominant
Oklahoma is off to a 4-0 start to the season thanks to a 55-16 win over Texas Tech last weekend. The Sooners are 1-0 in Big 12 play, 3-1 against the spread and 2-1-1 with the over/under total.
Nobody is putting up the offensive numbers Oklahoma has been for the past few years and this season is no different. The Sooners are averaging 55.5 points and 668.5 yards per game this season. Defensively, Oklahoma is giving up just 18.8 points and 343 yards per outing. Jalen Hurts is making a push to be a third straight Oklahoma Heisman winner. He has thrown for 1,295 yards and 12 touchdowns while also rushing for 443 yards and five scores. CeeDee Lamb is the leading receiver with 16 catches for 414 yards and six touchdowns while Trey Sermon has rushed for 274 yards and three touchdowns.
College Football Betting Trends
The Jayhawks are 11-23 ATS in their last 34 games against a winning team and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games in October.
The Sooners are 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six games following a win and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five road games.
The Sooners haven’t had trouble beating Kansas, but the Jayhawks have managed to cover the spread in the last two meetings. The Sooners are a dominant offensive team and Kansas hasn’t shown it has the defense to stop Oklahoma in the slightest. Kansas has had some offensive outbursts this year, but the Sooner defense looks to be better than previous years. Oklahoma can put up a big number today while getting enough stops to cover this lofty spread. If TCU can beat Kansas by more than 32, so can Oklahoma.
