Arizona vs. Stanford Odds
The fifth week of the college football season closes out play on Saturday at 10:30PM ET when No. 18 Stanford hosts Arizona on the Pac-12 Network.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Stanford is favored at home, as the Cardinal are getting odds of -14.5 points against Arizona. The over/under total for the game has been set at 61.5 points. Stanford has won three straight meetings with Arizona and the Cardinal are 4-2 against the spread in the last six in this series.
Stanford is 3-1 on the season, 2-0 in the Pac-12, 3-1 against the spread and 2-2 with the over/under total. The Cardinal started the season with a 16-6 loss at Northwestern but they have since beaten UCF, USC and Oregon State to get back into the top 25. Stanford is averaging 30 points and 423.2 yards per game on offense while allowing just 19.5 points and 331 yards per game on defense. Kevin Hogan has thrown for 938 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the offense while Christian McCaffrey has rushed for 445 yards, but is seeking his first TD of the season.
Arizona is 3-1 on the season, 0-1 in the Pac-12, 2-2 against the spread and 4-0 with the over. The Wildcats started 3-0 but are coming off a 56-30 loss to UCLA at home last week. Arizona had 468 yards of offense in the win, but allowed 497 yards to the Bruins. The Wildcats committed three turnovers in the game as well. Arizona didn’t come out healthy from the game either as QB Anu Solomon and RB Nick Wilson are both questionable for this game due to injuries suffered last week. Solomon had just 55 passing yards before leaving the game while Wilson rushed for 136 yards. Jerrard Randall rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown to help lead Arizona.
