The Utes are 10-3 against the spread in their last 13 road games but are just 2-5 against the number in their last seven conference games and are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS win.. They're 1-8 against the spread in their last nine games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game as well.

The Golden Bears have failed to cover in six of their last seven conference games and are winless at 0-5 against the number in their last five games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game. They're also just 8-20 at the betting window in their last 26 home games and are 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games coming off a straight up loss.

OUR PREDICTION: Why Cal is favored in this game, outside of being at home, is mind-boggling. The Utes rank 23rd in the nation in total yards allowed (314.2), are 28th in passing yards allowed (182.2), and 15th in points allowed (15.8). So while Cal is explosive on offense, Utah has the talent on defense to give the Bears fits. Plus, the Utes' offense has been a pleasant surprise this season thanks to receiver Tim Patrick, who is coming off back-to-back 100-yard receiving games.
