No. 24 California looks to live up to its new top-25 ranking on Saturday when it hosts Washington State at 4PM ET on the Pac-12 Network.

The over/under total for the contest is listed at 70.5 points. Cal has won nine of its last 10 against Washington State, covering the spread in three of the last four meetings.

The Bears have had a tough offense to stop, as they are averaging 45.8 points and 542.5 yards per game. The defense is holding opponents to 22.2 points and 382.8 yards per game. Cal already holds wins over Texas and Washington coming into this game thanks to Jared Goff, who has thrown for 1,240 yards and 11 touchdowns. Khalfani Muhammad is the leading rusher with 309 yards and a touchdown. Kenny Lawler is the leading receiver with 21 catches for 294 yards and six touchdowns.
Washington State is in its conference opener. The Cougars are 2-1 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. Washington State isn’t quite putting up its usual offensive numbers. While averaging 449.3 yards per game on offense, the Cougars are scoring just 28.3 points per game. The defense hasn’t been too bad, giving up just 24 points and 368.3 yards per game.
