Will Haskell announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he plans to enter the transfer portal. Haskell replaced Braxton Burmeister (eye) in last Saturday’s loss to Utah, but he only threw one time before being replaced by true freshman Kyle Crum. Haskell has appeared in five games over the last two seasons with the Aztecs and will likely seek a larger role in the transfer portal, though it’s unclear what type of attention he’ll draw.

Coach Andy Avalos announced Tuesday that Green will start Friday’s game against San Diego State, B.J. Rains of the Idaho Press-Tribune reports. Taylen Green will replace Hank Bachmeier, who left the team following the loss to UTEP. Green has only seen sizable action in one game during his first two years at Boise State, but he showed off a dual-threat ability by completing 67.9 percent of his passes and rushing for over 100 yards.
