Oklahoma vs. Baylor Spread Prediction
The Oklahoma Sooners are once again flexing their dominance in the Big 12 but they had a scare last week at home versus Army. Will they roll against Baylor today at 3:30 p.m. ET or will the Bears stay within the massive point spread?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Sooners are 23.5-point favorites to beat the Bears. The total, meanwhile, sits at 68 points. As of this writing, 62% of the public betting tickets wagered on this matchup are on the Sooners.
Baylor Bears
Baylor HC Matt Rhule said Wednesday that junior LG Johncarlo Valentin will start Saturday’s game at Oklahoma. Valentin will make the start in place of sophomore Xavier Newman, who’s reportedly dealing with an undisclosed injury. After missing Baylor’s first two games of 2018 Valentin, a 6-foot-4, 332-pound transfer from ASA College, made his debut in the team’s Sept. 15 loss to Duke.
Oklahoma Sooners
The Draft Network’s Brad Kelly sees Oklahoma junior WR Marquise Brown coming away winner of the Biletnikoff Award. Kelly cites several factors in Brown’s favor, including the beautiful offensive system that the 5-foot-10, 168-pounder plays in, Oklahoma’s repeated opportunities to play on the national stage and the program’s Playoff ambitions. For the campaign, Brown owns a 19-412-3 receiving line. Two other players Kelly sees potentially jostling with the OU standout for award honors, here, are Stanford’s J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Missouri WR Emanuel Hall. He believes these three young gentlemen will begin to emerge as leaders of the pack in this race as the campaign unfolds on its merry way.
Betting Trends
Baylor
The Bears are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five road games.
Oklahoma
The Sooners have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five games overall but are 12-4 at the betting window in their last 16 home games.
Prediction
With Texas coming up, this could be a good spot to fade Oklahoma in what could be a lookahead game. Thanks to their weapons at receiver, the Bears could strike for some big plays and while Baylor will struggle to slow down Oklahoma’s offense, this has shootout potential. In a game where both teams should be able to find the end zone plenty, give me the points.
