USC vs. Arizona St. Odds
Already with a conference loss, No. 19 USC looks to get back on track this Saturday when it hits the road to face Arizona State at 10:30PM ET on ESPN.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, USC is the slight favorite on the road, as the Trojans are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Sun Devils. The over/under total for the game has been set at 63 points. Arizona State has won three of its last four against USC and the Sun Devils are 6-1 against the spread in their last 7 against the Trojans.
USC is 2-1 on the season, 0-1 in the Pac-12, 2-1 against the spread and 2-1 with the over. The Trojans started the year with dominant wins over Arkansas State and Idaho at home, but then suffered a 41-31 loss to Stanford at home last week. The USC defense struggled with a lackluster Stanford offense, allowing 474 total yards to the Cardinal, including 195 rushing yards. USC moved the ball just fine as Cody Kessler threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns while JuJu Smith-Schuster had eight receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown. Tre Madden was the leading rusher with 64 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
Arizona State is 2-1 on the season, 0-3 against the spread and 3-0 with the under. The Sun Devils suffered a 38-17 loss to Texas A&M in the season opener but have since picked up a 35-21 win over Cal-Poly and a 34-10 win over New Mexico. Known for a dynamic offense, ASU is only averaging 423.7 yards per game this season while the defense has played well, holding opponents to just 350 yards. Quarterback Mike Bercovici has thrown for 799 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the offense while Demario Richard has rushed for 298 yards and two scores.
