Florida Gators Game Notes
Anthony Richardson completed 10-of-18 passes for just 112 yards and two interceptions Saturday. Richardson was also a non-factor in the running game with just 24 yards on seven carries. The Gators were lucky to escape with a win; he will need to play much better if Florida is hoping to knock off undefeated Tennessee next weekend. Richardson has failed to find the end zone in each of the last two games.
Tennessee Vols Game Notes
Jabari Small (shoulder) practiced fully this week after having just two carries for 14 yards against Akron, Ben McKee of 247 Sports reports. Small appears to be ready to go for Saturday’s SEC opener against Florida despite being nicked up with a shoulder issue last week. He had 23 carries for 80 yards and three touchdowns in the first two games of the season. If he’s not at 100 percent Saturday, Jaylen Wright stands to see an elevated workload. Still, the expectation is that Small plays against the Gators.
